Aral Balkan

The default password for MySQL under MAMP is username: root, password: root. Apparently the default password in a plain vanilla install is username: root, password: "" (empty).

• I have installed MAMP and it automatically gave me root and root. I also do freelance work for a company that is PC based, using WAMP, and their password is in plain vanilla. How can I change my password on MAMP? PS. I'm a designer and NOT a developer so you can imagine my reaction when I saw SQL and Apache. :-O
